Personal data we process

L&D Support International Products BV processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we may process. Which of these personal data are actually processed or used may vary depending on the specific situation:

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

The website and services of L&D Support are not intended to collect data from visitors under the age of 16, unless consent has been given by their parents or legal guardians. However, L&D Support cannot verify whether visitors are 16 years of age or older. L&D Support therefore advises parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent data about children from being collected without consent.

If you suspect that L&D Support has collected personal data about a minor without consent, please contact us at [email protected] so that the relevant information can be deleted.

Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data

L&D Support International Products BV processes personal data for the purpose of providing our services, including assessments and reports, to our clients.

Automated decision-making

Automated decision-making refers to decisions made by computer programs or systems without human involvement. L&D Support International Products BV will never make decisions on matters that may have adverse or significant consequences for individuals based solely on automated processing.

How long we retain personal data

L&D Support International Products BV does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following categories of data:

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit a website. L&D Support International Products BV uses only technical and functional cookies without your consent. Cookies for statistics and marketing are only placed with your consent (see below).

The cookies used by L&D Support International Products BV are necessary for the technical operation of the website and for visitor convenience. They ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are stored. They also enable us to optimise our website.

For visitor statistics we use Umami, which runs on our own server and does not place any cookies: we only see totals that contain no personal data, such as the number of visits per page and how often a form has been submitted, and we do not share this data with anyone.

Only if you give consent in the cookie banner do we also use:

Google Analytics (category Statistics) by Google Ireland Ltd., to see how visitors use the website. Google Analytics places cookies (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years). We use Google Consent Mode: without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses, and we do not use the data for advertising.
Leadinfo (category Marketing) by Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, to recognise from IP addresses which companies visit our website and show related publicly available company information. Leadinfo places cookies (_li_id, up to 2 years, and _li_ses, for the duration of your visit).

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie-instellingen” (cookie settings) link at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw it, we remove the cookies concerned. We keep your choice for 12 months in your browser (local storage), without a cookie.

You can opt out of cookies by configuring your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. If you opt out of cookies, our website will not function. You can also delete all previously stored information via your browser settings.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you may have given for data processing, or to object to the processing of your personal data by L&D Support International Products BV.

In addition, you have the right to data portability. This means that you may submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you, or to another organisation specified by you.

Requests for access, correction, deletion or data transfer, as well as any withdrawal of consent or objections relating to the processing of your personal data, can be sent to [email protected].

To enable us to verify that the request was actually made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document. To protect your privacy, you may black out your passport photo, MRZ (‘machine readable zone’, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and BSN on this copy. We will respond to your request within four weeks.

How we protect personal data

L&D Support International Products BV takes the protection of your data very seriously and takes all necessary measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration.

If there is any misuse, or if you have reason to believe that your data is not properly secured, please contact our customer service or our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].

Additional information

Our products use Sentry to detect, analyse and resolve technical errors and malfunctions. Sentry helps us improve the stability, security and quality of our software.

When an error occurs, technical information may be recorded, such as error messages, the time of the error, the browser used, operating system, device or session data, IP address and technical log data. This data is used solely for error analysis, security, maintenance and improvement of our products.

We do not use Sentry for marketing purposes or profiling. Where possible, we limit the recorded data to what is necessary for detecting and resolving errors. Any personal data that may appear in error messages or log data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable retention periods.

To the extent that Sentry acts as a processor, we have made appropriate arrangements regarding the security and processing of data.
